So Show Up might not be the right option for you, as I understand you want to keep it open/free and accessible. I'm thinking about using reputation based mechanisms to RSVP (instead of financial), but this is still just in idea phase 😅

The goal of Show Up is to reduce no shows by requesting a deposit fee. I suggest a small $5-10 fee. Or if you want to keep it completely free, at minimum people would need to pay a gas fee. This ensures skin in the game and is actually intentional. Deposits are returned when attending the event
